Homeschooling as a single mom can require even more, as Christian Home Educators of Colorado puts it, and the organization’s Casterline Single Moms Banquet exists to give those mothers one evening that asks nothing of them. On Saturday, Nov. 14 at Reformation Church in Elizabeth, fellowship and childcare drop-off begin at 6 p.m., the dinner program starts at 6:15 and the evening ends at 8:15. It is completely free, and childcare for children ages 2 to 12 is provided on site by what CHEC describes as trusted volunteers.
