Love Extended is Cherry Hills Community Church’s annual weekend of hands-on service, and the 2026 edition is Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 3-4. Volunteers choose from six serve areas: free oil changes and safety inspections with Christian Brothers, food-basket packing and repairs with an inner-city partner in Denver, yard cleanup for local homeowners, a guided prayer walk on the church campus, a kids-and-families station assembling care baskets and cards for first responders, and a student landscaping project at a Douglas County sheriff substation.
The church stresses there is a project for every skill level and says outright that it loves when families serve together, pointing to the dedicated kids and prayer-walk areas. Sign-up is through the church’s online form, where you pick the project that fits your schedule. The church calendar lists the Sunday session as 1 to 4 p.m. and free; individual project times are not published.
