For readers who have worked through Dr. Michael S. Heiser’s books on the unseen realm, this is the Front Range gathering of the fall. The Divine Council Worldview Conference runs from Friday, Oct. 9 at 4 p.m. through Saturday, Oct. 10 at 6 p.m. in Golden, honoring Heiser’s legacy and looking at how the divine council worldview shapes the way Christians understand God’s kingdom, spiritual warfare and discipleship.
The program lists presentations from scholars and lay contributors, a speaker meet-and-greet and a panel Q&A. Speakers include Pastor Jim Burgen, Matthew Halsted, Ph.D., Doug Van Dorn, Ronn Johnson, Ph.D., Joel Muddamalle, Ph.D., and Carey Griffel, with worship led by Jody McBrayer of Avalon. Organizers pitch it to scholars, pastors and informed lay readers.
