Monday, Sept. 28 is National Good Neighbor Day, and Wheat Ridge Library is treating it as a full-day open house: drop-in crafts and activities for every age, from babies to seniors, any time the branch is open, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The library’s description is simple, build connections and foster community, which in practice means a low-key place to take kids after school or stop in on the way home from work.
Jefferson County Public Library’s events are free and this one lists no registration. Other JCPL branches are running their own Good Neighbor Day programs the same day, including sidewalk chalk art at Columbine and a book swap at Conifer.
