The History Colorado Center’s ‘Moments That Made US’ gathers more than 50 artifacts spanning 800 years of American history, part of the state’s Colorado 150 and America 250 programming, and it closes Oct. 18. The museum at 1200 N. Broadway is open every day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; children are free and adults pay $20, so one ticket covers a homeschool family.
Two more closing dates worth noting on the same visit: ‘Big Dreams in Denver’s Little Saigon’ ends Oct. 5, while ’38th Star: Colorado Becomes the Centennial State,’ ‘Expedition 1776,’ ‘Mountains Majesty: On the Summit with John Fielder’ and ‘All Hands on Deck: Life and Legacy of the USS Colorado Battleship’ all run into 2027.
