The Littleton Symphony Orchestra opens its doors for a free family concert on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2026, at Littleton United Methodist Church. Doors open at 2 p.m. and the performance begins at 2:30 p.m. Music director Catherine Sailer conducts, and violinist Rocco Parada is the guest soloist.
The orchestra’s program is built from single movements and short works, which keeps the afternoon moving for younger listeners: Elgar’s Wand of Youth Overture, the first movement of Mozart’s Symphony No. 40, Lili Boulanger’s D’un matin de printemps, the first movement of Schubert’s Symphony No. 5, Fanny Mendelssohn Hensel’s Overture in C Major, Accolay’s Violin Concerto No. 1 in A Minor and Liszt’s Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2. The orchestra notes that concert dates and programs are subject to change. Admission is free; the concert is supported by the Rotary Club of Littleton.
