Pumpkins & Pilsners fills Bond Park in downtown Estes Park on Saturday, Oct. 10, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is free. Kids get pumpkin picking, pony rides and activities; adults can buy a souvenir tasting glass for craft beer sampling; everyone gets live music, food trucks and lawn games, with the aspens usually near peak color in the valley.
It falls one week after Elk Fest in the same park, so the elk rut is still on. Build in extra time for traffic and parking on a fall Saturday.
