The south metro’s holiday lights walk is Trail of Lights at Denver Botanic Gardens Chatfield Farms, on Deer Creek Canyon Road in Littleton. The 2026 season runs from Saturday, Nov. 21 through Sunday, Jan. 3, 2027, from 5 to 8:30 p.m. on open nights, with last entry at 8:30 and the site closing at 9:15 p.m. The farm is closed six nights during the run: Nov. 26 and 30, Dec. 2, 7, 8 and 25.
Tickets are timed and sold only through the Gardens’ own ticketing site. Members get a presale by level from Nov. 4 to 6, and public sales open Monday, Nov. 9 at 10 a.m. As of Oct. 22 the Gardens listed prices as TBA; we will add them when they post. Date changes cost $5 up to 72 hours ahead and are free for members. Unlike the York Street lights, parking at Chatfield Farms is free and plentiful, which is one reason south-side families pick it. There is no coat check, so dress for a farm walk in December.
