Belmar’s BOOMar gives Lakewood families a free, daylight Halloween a week early: trick-or-treating at participating shops, a costume parade, Halloween crafts, face painters and balloon twisters on The Plaza at Belmar, Saturday, Oct. 24, from noon to 3 p.m.
It costs nothing, though organizers ask families to RSVP through Eventbrite (the link is on Belmar’s event page). Restaurants around the district run food and drink specials during the event.
