Denver Botanic Gardens offers a family workshop on carnivorous plants in two separate sessions: Saturday, Oct. 17 and Sunday, Oct. 18, 2026, each from 10 to 11:30 a.m. It covers Venus flytraps and lesser-known carnivorous species, and how these plants survive.
Each participant plants a carnivorous plant in a mini bog garden to take home. The workshop is meant for families with children 7 and up. Everyone attending must register, and the Gardens cannot accommodate non-participating adults or children.
