Chatfield Farms hosts the metro’s flagship pumpkin-patch weekend Friday through Sunday, Oct. 9-11, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (site closes at 5 p.m.). Admission covers the 10-acre pumpkin patch, corn maze entry, wagon and barrel-train rides, live music, bingo, antique tractors, carnival games, bounce houses and face painting.
Tickets are $22 adults, $20 seniors and $14 for ages 3-15 (under 3 free; members $2 off), sold as timed entry. Pumpkins are extra, card only, and average about $9; the free ‘pumpkin daycare’ holds yours while you keep exploring. This event has sold out in past years, so advance tickets are strongly recommended.
Know before you go
- Bring a wagon for hauling pumpkins; sealed non-alcoholic drinks and picnics are allowed.
- Free parking directed by sheriff’s deputies at 8500 W. Deer Creek Canyon Rd.
- No pets; service animals only. Food trucks, beer and cider sold separately.
- Can’t make it? The corn maze runs on its own every weekend through Nov. 1.
