Sunday, Oct. 11 is a free general-admission day at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science, open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The museum lists it among its 2026 SCFD community free days (the others left this year: a free night on Nov. 7 from 5 to 10 p.m. and a free day on Nov. 16).
Free days are crowded. Arrive early, and know that special exhibitions, IMAX and the planetarium normally carry separate charges. Children 2 and under never need a ticket.
