The Loveland Downtown District’s Pumpkin Festival takes over 4th Street between Cleveland and Washington avenues on Saturday, Oct. 10, from noon to 5 p.m. Entry is free. Artist-designed pumpkin-decorating kits are $15, and carving kits and a Loveland Fire Rescue ‘Fireman Pumpkin Kit’ are also offered.
The schedule includes a group and family costume contest at 1 p.m. and a pumpkin pie eating contest at 3 p.m., with farmers market stands, food vendors and trucks, a pumpkin ring toss, carnival-style games, a haunted house and a DJ filling the rest of the afternoon.
