Why it matters locally
The numbers show how many students in the Longmont-based district are taking on college-level coursework while still in high school, and the district says participation has more than doubled in ten years. The district describes AP Seminar and AP Research as project-based courses built around group projects, presentations and a year of independent research. The article does not break the numbers down by school.
