Watch: the Denver Art Museum’s ‘Always Something New to See & Do at the Denver Art Museum,’ ahead of the free day on Tuesday, Oct. 13

A video from the Denver Art Museum’s own YouTube channel, plus what the museum’s free day on Tuesday, Oct. 13 includes, how tickets work, the hours question to check and a photography show that closes Oct. 25.

The Denver Art Museum posted this video on its own YouTube channel, which the museum links from the footer of its website. The title is ‘Always Something New to See & Do at the Denver Art Museum.’

Why now: the museum’s next free day is Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2026. On free days, general admission costs nothing and covers the whole campus: the Hamilton Building, the Martin Building and The Kirkland. Special exhibitions are not part of the deal and need an added ticket. One show that is included in general admission is close to the end of its run: ‘What We’ve Been Up To: People,’ more than 60 photographs of people from the museum’s collection that it had not shown in its galleries before, is on Level 6 of the Martin Building through Oct. 25. We could not confirm when the video was published or how long it runs, and we have not described its contents beyond the title, so check the museum’s exhibitions page for what is on view now.

FOUNDER + EDITOR, COLORADO LOCAL

Jessica Holland is a Colorado mom, entrepreneur, marketer and founder of Colorado Local. After years of constantly searching for things to do with her family, local businesses worth supporting, educational experiences for her girls, worship nights, community events and simply more GOOD news, she realized the resource she wanted didn’t really exist in one place. So she built it.

Jessica is also the founder of Holland Health Marketing, where she helps businesses grow through digital marketing, local visibility and community connection.

Her Christian faith is a big part of who she is and the way she sees the world. Colorado Local isn’t a faith-only publication, but you’ll absolutely find faith here, alongside stories about neighbors helping neighbors, churches serving their communities and people using what they have to make Colorado a little brighter.

She lives in Northern Colorado with her husband, two daughters and their very large Newfoundland, Mugsy.

Her mission for Colorado Local is pretty simple: help people get out, connect, support local and find more of the good happening right in front of us.
