On Baptism + Family Weekend, Mission Hills Church turns off the kids’ and student programming and puts everyone in the same room. The next one is Saturday, Oct. 24 and Sunday, Oct. 25, at the Littleton, North Littleton, Castle Rock and Espanol campuses.
The church’s page says there is no age-specific weekend programming for kindergarten through fifth grade, middle school or high school on these weekends, so children and teens sit with their families in the main service while the church celebrates the people being baptized. The listing runs from 4 p.m. Saturday through 12:30 p.m. Sunday; individual service times by campus are on the church’s site. Anyone who wants to be baptized that weekend signs up through the church’s baptism page, and the Littleton campus holds a prep meeting the Saturday and Sunday before.
