Denver Film’s 49th Denver Film Festival runs Oct. 22 through Nov. 1, based at the Sie FilmCenter at 2510 E. Colfax Ave. The festival describes itself as Denver’s premier celebration of cinema, with diverse films from around the world, and it includes a Colorado Spotlight section for locally made work. Passes are on sale now. The dates that matter if you want single tickets: the full program is announced Saturday, Oct. 3, member tickets go on sale Sunday, Oct. 4, and general tickets follow on Monday, Oct. 5.
