Calvary Church in Golden starts its weekend worship a day early. A traditional communion service is held every Saturday at 5 p.m. in the church’s Historic Chapel, an option for anyone who cannot be there on Sunday morning. The next one is Saturday, Oct. 10.
Calvary lists four weekend services. Saturday at 5 p.m. and Sunday at 8 and 11:15 a.m. are traditional communion services in the Historic Chapel. Sunday at 9:30 a.m. is a contemporary communion service in the Great Hall, with Calvary Kids Bible Time during the sermon. The church says parking in its parking structure is free for all worship services, and that street parking and nearby city lots are free on weekends.
