Columbine Library in Littleton holds Cuentacuentos en español, a Spanish-language story time, on Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2026, from 10:15 to 10:45 a.m. Jefferson County Public Library describes it as a family event where children and their caregivers share stories, rhymes and art together in Spanish. It is listed for babies, toddlers and preschoolers, and families are welcome.
Like the library’s other story times, it counts toward the 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program, and the library’s advice is simple: read together, any book, including the same favorite again and again. For homeschool families with a preschooler in tow, it is a half hour of Spanish listening practice on a weekday morning.
