Downtown Fort Collins’ monthly art walk returns on Friday, Oct. 2, from 6 to 9 p.m. It is free and self-guided: you wander between galleries, museums and shops at your own pace. The October page lists 29 participating stops, including Trimble Court Artisans, the Museum of Art, the Global Village Museum of Arts and Cultures, the Center for Creativity and Old Town Art & Frame.

- One stop doubles as an opening: the Center for Creativity hosts the Northern Colorado Artists Fall Show reception that night from 6 to 9 p.m., and ‘Formed by Fire’ is on view in the same building.
