The First Friday Makers’ Market closes out its April-to-October season on Friday, Oct. 2, with a harvest-themed edition the organizer calls the Harvest Market and Costume Crawl. Fourth Avenue in downtown Longmont fills with local makers and artists, food trucks, live music and face painting from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m., and a costume contest is judged at 8 p.m. with prizes for the top three. The organizer bills it as free and family- and dog-friendly.
