Harvest Haunt is the Colorado Railroad Museum’s gentle Halloween weekend, built for young kids: train rides, ‘haunted’ railcars, a silly graveyard, a hay-bale maze and a pumpkin-cart photo spot, with trick-or-treating for kids in costume. It runs Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 17-18. Activities go from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; the grounds are open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Buy online and save $5 per ticket: $17 adults, $7 ages 2-17 and $15 seniors 60+ online, versus $22, $12 and $20 at the gate. Members and kids under 2 are free. Arrive about 30 minutes before your scheduled train. Lunch and treats are sold on site.
