Northwest Denver gets a free street festival next weekend. Tennyson Fall Fest sets up along Tennyson Street from West 41st Avenue to West 43rd Avenue on Saturday, Oct. 17, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and it is free to attend.
Organizers bill it as a family festival with more than 100 local vendors and artisans, live music, free yoga, and food from trucks and restaurants. There is also a pet costume contest, and well-behaved dogs on a leash are welcome.
If you want to make a full day of it, the Broadway Halloween Parade is that same evening on South Broadway.
