Belmar Library in Lakewood hosts its Tweens Writing Group tonight, Wednesday, Oct. 7, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Kids ages 9 to 12 write from a set of prompts, talk over their ideas with the group and decorate their pages.
Writers should bring a notebook and a pen or pencil. Jefferson County Public Library does not label this a homeschool program. It is a library writing group for tweens that homeschool families can use as a creative writing session with peers, and the early evening hour leaves the school day free.
