Red Rocks Community College has started a program for adults who never finished high school, built with the Denver nonprofit Mi Casa Resource Center. The college, which has campuses in Lakewood and Arvada, announced it in an article posted Thursday, Sept. 17, 2026. Its program page calls the partnership ADVANCE and says it is for adults 21 and older who have not earned a U.S. high school diploma.

According to the college, the program comes down to three classes: math, English and civics. Each course lasts five weeks, and students can take one at a time or all three at once. Anyone who has to stop has up to a year to restart in a later five-week group, and students who already have high school credits can bring transcripts to see what counts. Classes meet in the evening, Monday through Thursday, with some online work, and are taught by RRCC professors.

The college says it also provides tutors, plus workshops on using online systems, online safety, time management and resume building. Its article follows two students who left high school years ago and are now back in class.
