Fort Collins Museum of Discovery at 408 Mason Ct. combines hands-on science exhibits, local history and the OtterBox Digital Dome Theater, and it books daytime group visits for groups of 15 to 180. School groups pay $10 per student, which includes the gallery and a dome show, with one chaperone free for every five students and extra adults at $10. Other organized groups pay $10 per youth (ages 2-18) and $12 per adult, with the dome as a $3 add-on. The museum also runs Heritage Courtyard field trips on Thursday mornings only: guided tours of four historic buildings at $4 per student, chaperones free at the same 5-to-1 ratio.
Reservations are required for any group of 15 or more, through the online form or booking@fcmod.org, and the museum recommends booking at least a month out because dates fill quickly. The group page does not mention homeschool groups by name, and no 2026 homeschool day is posted, so a co-op should book as an organized group. Regular admission for a family visit is $15.50 for adults and $12.75 for youth.
