The leaves are coming down in Littleton, and there is a better place for them than the trash. The city’s official YouTube channel has a video on the subject, titled ‘Captain Littleton: Leaf Recycling,’ and this year’s drop-off dates are set.

What to know for 2026

  • When: The 2026 Fall Leaf Collection Event, a partnership between Littleton and Englewood, runs Oct. 26 to Nov. 10, 2026. The city calendar lists 14 dates; check it for the days and hours, which we could not read today.
  • Where: A1 Organics Mountain States, 2300 W. Radcliff Ave., Englewood, CO 80110
  • Bags: Paper bags are accepted as long as they are not mixed with branches or other yard waste. If you use plastic bags, you must empty them and take the bags with you.
  • Leaves only: Loads that include other yard waste are charged the normal rate of $16 per cubic yard.
  • Timing: The last loads are accepted 30 minutes before closing.
  • Also on the city calendar: the Tri-Cities Repair Fair on Saturday, Oct. 17, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Englewood Recreation Center
