Nothing says Halloween like the opening notes of Bach’s Toccata and Fugue in D minor on a pipe organ. Colorado State University has made a tradition of it: the Halloween Organ Extravaganza returns to Fort Collins for its 21st year on Saturday, Oct. 31, and the University Center for the Arts has a performance of the piece on its official YouTube channel.
We have not described the video beyond its title, and we could not confirm which year it was recorded or who is at the organ. The details below come from this year’s event page.
