Big Jay Oakerson’s weekend run at Comedy Works Downtown ends Saturday, Oct. 17, and there is one show left to get into. As of Saturday morning the club listed general tickets for the 9:15 p.m. show at $41, with VIP priority seating sold out. The 7 p.m. show is sold out, as were Thursday and Friday.
Oakerson is known for interactive sets built on crowd work. The club’s bio lists festival stops at Moontower, Just for Laughs Montreal and Netflix Is a Joke Fest, radio and podcast work on The Bonfire with Robert Kelly on SiriusXM and Legion of Skanks, TV credits including The Roast of Kevin Hart, Louie and Inside Amy Schumer, and specials including The Degenerates on Netflix and Them/They. Expect a raw, unfiltered show.
