CSU Spur, the free public learning campus at 4777 National Western Drive in Denver, hosts its fall Homeschool Day on Wednesday, Oct. 14, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Homeschool families move through hands-on activities and learning stations on water, agriculture and health, with fall-themed projects and time to meet other homeschool families.
The day is open to families with children of all ages, though CSU Spur says the exhibits and activities are designed mainly for students in preschool through sixth grade. The event page lists no ticket price, and CSU Spur’s calendar says its programs are free unless otherwise noted. Sign up through the registration link on the event page. CSU Spur holds a homeschool day only twice a year, in spring and fall, for up to 350 homeschoolers, so it is worth registering early. Plan for paid parking: CSU Spur says all guest parking is paid, with visitor parking north of the Vida building.
