The Denver Nuggets play the Utah Jazz in a preseason game at the University of Colorado’s CU Events Center on Sunday, Oct. 4 at 5 p.m. CU Athletics says it is the fourth time the Nuggets have made the trip up U.S. 36 for preseason action, and the campus arena is much smaller than Ball Arena, which is the appeal: a close look at the team on a Sunday evening in a college gym. Former Buff KJ Simpson is with the Jazz, so expect a warm welcome for a visitor.
