An improv troupe turns a room at the Arvada Center into a 1940s radio studio tonight. The King Penny Radio Show is a vintage-style variety program made up on the spot from audience suggestions, so no two performances are the same.
The cast works with old-fashioned microphones, period costumes and a live foley artist creating the sound effects. The Arvada Center invites the audience to come dressed in 1940s style, and drinks are available.
