Lotería Mexicana at the Longmont Public Library (Sunday, Oct. 4)

Illustration of a fall downtown scene in Longmont, Colorado

The Longmont Public Library is setting out the Lotería cards on Sunday afternoon for an hour of the classic Mexican picture game. The program runs in English and Spanish, and the library says players do not need to know Spanish to join in.

Prizes include bilingual books and small giveaways from local Mexican markets. The game is meant for the whole family, with all ages welcome, and it is supported by the Friends of the Longmont Library. It is an easy stop after church or lunch downtown.
