Lone Tree Arts Center’s student matinee series puts “The Magic School Bus: Lost in the Solar System” on stage Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 9-10, with performances at 10 a.m. and noon each day. In the TheaterWorksUSA musical, based on the Scholastic book series, Ms. Frizzle’s class gets lost on the way to the planetarium and ends up on a field trip through the solar system.
Group tickets are $11 each, with one free chaperone ticket for every 10 student tickets, up to 10 free tickets per group. The center says ticket scholarships and bus reimbursement are available, so note the need on your reservation request. The same series has “Frindle” on Nov. 2-3, also at 10 a.m. and noon.
A note for homeschool families: the arts center describes the series as serving children in the south metro area and beyond, and its pages do not mention homeschool groups or a minimum group size. Call the box office before you count on seats.
