The Longmont Museum’s Discovery Days program leaves the building on Monday, Sept. 28 for a free Music & Movement session in Lanyon Park, 1900 Collyer St. The museum’s Miss Ragen leads an hour of making music, moving and enjoying the fresh air for children ages 2 to 6 with an adult, from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m. The group meets near the shelter by the playground, so it is easy to find with a stroller.

- Free; no registration is listed. Ages 2-6 with an adult.
- Lanyon Park, 1900 Collyer St., Longmont. It is an outdoor session, so dress for the morning temperature.
- The museum’s grand reopening celebration is Saturday, Oct. 17, and it is free.
