Wheat Ridge Parks and Recreation is hosting Owls of North America, a one-hour live raptor program presented by HawkQuest, on Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2026, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Wheat Ridge Recreation Center. The city’s listing says the evening brings owls and a hawk into the room, covers how to tell hawks and owls apart and how owls hunt, and leaves time for audience questions and a photo with an owl.
The fee is $8 and registration goes through the city’s online system. The listing does not give an age range or a registration deadline, so sign up early if you want a seat. Questions go to Wheat Ridge Parks and Recreation at 303-231-1300.
