The Arvada Center is offering a guided look at one of its fall exhibitions on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2026, from 10 to 11 a.m. The Rigsby Revisited Walk + Talk takes visitors through ‘Rigsby Revisited: 50 Years Later’ in the Upper Gallery with Arvada Center curator Collin Parson, Colleen Fanning of Colleen Fanning Art Advisory, and two of the artist’s children, Lisa Rigsby Peterson and David Rigsby.
The exhibition looks back at John David Rigsby, who in 1977 became the first artist to have a solo show at the Arvada Center. It brings original works from that show together with archival materials, and it is on view through Nov. 8. The walk and talk is free and open to the public, and the Arvada Center asks visitors to RSVP so it knows how many people are coming. The RSVP link is on the event page.
