Southeast Christian Church’s Forged retreat runs from 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23 to noon Sunday, Oct. 25 at the church’s Parker campus, which keeps the weekend close to home for south-metro men who cannot disappear to the mountains for three days. The church frames the weekend around the idea that every man must be forged, and that only Jesus, the master blacksmith, can do it. This year’s focus is ‘Son, Subject or Slave,’ and the speaker is Dr. Chuck Stecker.
