The Children’s Museum of Denver at Marsico Campus posts a set Sunday schedule it calls Sundays at the Museum, and the next one is Sunday, Oct. 18, 2026. The museum is open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and the program day runs 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.: early learners’ programming in Bloom at 9:30 for newborns to 36 months with their caregivers, Teaching Kitchen cooking classes at 10 and 11 a.m., StoryTime in The Book Nook at 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., clay and glazing in The Art Studio from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Outdoor Exploration in Joy Park at 11 a.m., an art program at 1 p.m., a drop-in Teaching Kitchen program at 2 p.m., and Adventure Forest open until 3:30 p.m., weather permitting.
The museum says daily programming is subject to change, and that the 10 and 11 a.m. cooking classes do not run on days with a scheduled Teaching Kitchen workshop. Cooking classes are first come, first served, with sign-up outside the Teaching Kitchen. Playing with clay is free, but firing or glazing a piece carries a small fee. For homeschool families with young children, a Sunday here is a planned day of hands-on programs rather than open play, which is why we list it alongside field trips.
