The Littleton Museum keeps a page of interpretive videos made by its own living history staff, meant to be watched before a visit to its 1860s and 1890s farms. One of them fits the week: ‘Cooking From the Pioneer Pantry: Pumpkin Puree,’ from a series the museum groups under that name. The museum’s Harvest Festival, with pumpkin sales and wagon rides, is listed for Saturday, Oct. 10.
The museum says its videos share the skills, recipes and information that would have been part of Littleton’s historic culture, including activities that can be done at home or in a classroom. We could not confirm when this video was published. The same page also lists a ‘Pumpkin Soup’ video in the series.
