With evenings getting dark early, the City of Fort Collins is hosting Brighten the Night on Friday, Oct. 30, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Walk and Wheel Skills Hub on West Drake Road. Visitors can pick up free bike lights and other gear that helps walkers and riders stand out after dark.
The city is also handing out free LED light bulbs for home use while supplies last. The event is free and is listed by FC Moves, the city’s active transportation program.
