The Lafayette Fire Department is hosting a Halloween Touch-A-Truck morning on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2026, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Lafayette Fire Station #1. Kids can come in costume, bring a bag and trick-or-treat their way past fire trucks, ambulances and a Lafayette Police Department patrol car, and meet the first responders who use them.
The city’s event page does not list a cost or mention registration, so plan on a simple drop-in morning and check the official page before you go. Bring your own treat bag.
