Highlands Ranch gets a night of short documentaries on Wednesday, Oct. 7, when Mountainfilm on Tour stops at the Wildcat Auditorium at Southridge. The program is a playlist of nine short films from Mountainfilm, the documentary festival founded in 1979, with stories of adventure, activism and environmental stewardship. The lineup includes Rodeo on Ice, Wheelchair Mafia and Fish for the Future.
Doors open at 6 p.m. and the films run from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. A cash bar is available, and IDs will be checked. The Highlands Ranch Community Association suggests the evening for ages 16 and older, and there is a drawing for a YETI backpack.
