The Denver Zoo’s outreach team comes to the front lawn of Bemis Public Library on Thursday, Oct. 15, for Nature in the Neighborhood: hands-on exploration, nature-based play, sensory activities and live demonstrations where kids meet small animals up close. The library lists three half-hour sessions, at 10, 10:30 and 11 a.m., for children ages 4 to 11, and registration is required.
It falls on a Thursday morning during school hours. The library does not label it a homeschool program.
