Black & Read is an independent shop on Wadsworth Boulevard in Arvada that puts books, music and games under one roof. Its About page says the store has been around for more than 30 years. The site does not give a founding year or name the owners.
What they do
On the music side, the site lists vinyl LPs (both reissues and originals), CDs, cassettes and even 8-tracks. The book section, it says, holds thousands of used books at half price or less, along with rare books. The games side covers new and used role-playing games, board games and gaming accessories, and the shop also carries DVDs, laserdiscs and toys.
Black & Read buys as well as sells. Its Sell To Us page says you can bring in books, games, music and movies any time during store hours for cash or store credit. For records, the page says the offer depends on condition, and CDs need their original artwork.
