Boulder Bookstore is an independent bookstore at 1107 Pearl St., on the pedestrian mall in downtown Boulder. The store’s website describes it as three floors and 20,000 square feet holding more than 100,000 titles.
The site names David Bolduc as the owner and says the store was a founding member of the Boulder Independent Business Alliance.
What they do
The shelves cover new, used and out-of-print books, with sections for children and young adults and for local authors. The staff posts its own recommendations, and the store takes pre-orders and sells gift certificates.
It is also a gathering place. The store says it hosts more than 200 events a year, in the store and around the community, and its website lists book clubs.
