Louisville Cyclery has been selling and fixing bikes in Louisville since 1980, and its website calls it the oldest bike shop in the Boulder County region. The About page lists Scott Adlfinger as founder and Greg Jones as owner.
The shop is not where longtime customers may remember it. After 43 years at its original location, the site says, it moved to South Boulder Road.
What they do
The shop sells road, mountain, gravel, electric, hybrid, kids’ and BMX bikes, plus parts, apparel, helmets, shoes and car racks. The site also lists skateboards and scooters. Bikes are bought directly from the manufacturer and assembled and tuned in the Louisville shop, according to the About page. The service department says it welcomes all repairs and posts prices for three levels of tune-up. The site also has pages for local rides and events and a Trek Ride Club.
